Lions Tigers & Bears — East County’s accredited major cat and bear sanctuary — concluded a lifesaving animal rescue mission lately, transporting a dozen animals to new and protected households and getting in 5 new animals.

The animals were being rescued from Tri-Condition Zoological Park (Tri-Point out Zoo) in Maryland, a defunct roadside zoo that compromised animals’ health and fitness, security, and standard wants and was cited for various animal welfare and endangered species act violations more than two a long time.

A dozen animals loaded into the rescue hauler for transport to their permanently properties integrated:

  • Two coatis
  • Two geese
  • 1 pot-bellied pig

The two feminine Himalayan black bears, Susie and Sallie, mini horses Cappuccino and Dream, and Cody the llama will forever reside at Lions Tigers & Bears exterior Alpine.

Lions Tigers & Bears Rescue Crew shipped the relaxation of the animals to an accredited sanctuary in Texas.
